Four-Needle Bind Off

Merge three sets of stitches into one

This variation of three-needle bind off is used in the War Bride Beret pattern to close off both ends of the tubular hatband while leaving a single set of live stitches to create a button tab.

Good for: Closing tubular hatbands when you want to continue on making a single-layer tab.

How to do it:

Basic Principle:

You will join three sets of live stitches into a single set by working a new row from three sets at the same time.

This technique is a variation of the Three-Needle Bind Off. If you want a text or written tutorial, see the Three-Needle Bind Off tutorial and apply the same principles, only binding off from three needles instead of two.
