Commercial License for item production from MSWbT patterns
This licence provides the purchaser with the right to produce items for sale from ONE "My Secret Wish by Talena" pattern for commercial use. PATTERN MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY. For bundled patterns, each item in the pattern bundle must be licensed separately for commercial use.
The purchaser must notify seller which pattern they are purchasing the licence for. Purchaser must also give credit to "My Secret Wish by Talena (www.mysecretwish.ca)" as the designer of the pattern on any packaging included with the item. Logo for My Secret Wish by Talena will be provided for use on packaging, if desired.
Small-Scale Use: 1-20 items produced
Medium-Scale Use: 21-100 items produced
Large-Scale Use: 101-200 items produced
After purchase, buyer will be emailed a PDF contract stating which pattern they are entitled to use, and the terms of use as outlined in this listing.
NOTE: This licence is only for hand-knitters wishing to produce my designs for profit as a sole proprietorship or small business with 5 or less employees or a knitting co-op producing items for profit with 5 or less members. PATTERN MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY. ONE PATTERN MUST BE PURCHASED FOR EACH KNITTER. For large-scale factory producers or producers falling outside of these parameters, please contact me.
Please keep track of your produced items. This is on the honour system--if you find you produced or wish to produce more items than you were originally licensed for, please come back and purchase another licence.
While it is not required, some promotion of My Secret Wish by Talena as the designer of your item via social media channels (with links back to the pattern listing on any of my selling platforms) would be appreciated.
THIS LICENCE DOES NOT GIVE THE HOLDER THE RIGHT TO SELL, REPRODUCE, OR DISTRIBUTE THE PATTERN CONTENTS, OR ANY PART THEREOF, IN ANY WAY. THOSE RIGHTS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF THE DESIGNER.
By purchasing this licence, you agree to abide by the terms of the licence as set out herein. You also indemnify My Secret Wish by Talena and Talena Winters of any responsibility for any injury, inconvenience, or loss caused by the use of this licence or pattern. MY SECRET WISH BY TALENA AND TALENA WINTERS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURY, INCONVENIENCE, OR LOSS CAUSED BY THE USE OR MISUSE OF THIS PATTERN, OR ITEMS PRODUCED FROM THE PATTERN.
